Snow Cancellations & Other Helpful Member Tips

With the hustle and bustle of classes there are a few point regarding class cancellations, membership tips, and other things that sometimes get lost in translation.

Snowstorm protocol is typically the #1 most asked policy, so this seems like as good a time as any to cover these!

WHAT HAPPENS TO CLASSES IN SNOW STORMS? 

For smaller snow totals we, like most businesses, typically stay open.   However, for 2 foot snowstorms or other hefty amounts we do occasionally close.

You'll see CANCELLED in red if we do decide to close.   This page updates in real time so it is your best way to get up-to-date information.

WHAT IF CLASS IS ON DURING A STORM BUT I DON'T WANT TO DRIVE THERE?

With snowstorms and any other major weather event if you feel it would be unsafe for you to travel to our location please call us (978-798-1391) or email Jim (jim@powersourceleominster.com) to let us know you won't be coming in.    

During these storms we've always let people make up the class as our members have been very good about not taking advantage of this policy.

WHAT ABOUT OTHER CANCELLATIONS?  CAN WE MAKE THOSE UP?

We allow for one late cancellation or no-show make up per season.   To make up the missed class please contact Jim and he will put you in to the extra session.

WHAT IS A LATE CANCELLATION?

Any scheduled session that you cancel within 12 hours of the class start.   These count the same as if you simply didn't show up, but does open up the spot for another athlete to potentially schedule a workout in your place.

WHAT IF I CANCEL BEFORE THE 12 HOUR WINDOW?

At any point before the 12 hour window there's an option within your schedule class section to click EARLY CANCEL, in which case you'd be removed from the class list and can re-schedule to any time you wish.  You can do this as many times as you need without penalty to fit your scheduling needs.

WHAT IF I MISS A WEEK OF TRAINING?  CAN I MAKE THOSE UP?

Yes, this is why our memberships are based on sessions per month, not per week.   If you miss a week, we 100% want to see you make those classes up later.  Or, if you know there's an upcoming time you'll be busy, you can add extra sessions before your time off as well.

CAN I SCHEDULE A RECURRING CLASS TIME?

Yes, in Mindbody there should be an option to create a recurring schedule time.   Through the website it will appear on the right side of the screen where you would schedule a class (single reservation is on the left).   However, this feature may not show up if you do not have a recurring membership.

I CAN'T SIGN UP FOR CLASSES, THE 'SIGN UP NOW' BUTTONS AREN'T THERE!!!

This typically happens on a Sunday evening.   To access the upcoming week's schedule, simply hit the right-facing arrow on the WEEK button and it will bring you to next week's classes.
