For the last 5 years our Power Source community has made a significant donation to Kylee's Kare Kits for Kids, a local non-profit that is run by local kids to benefit in-need kids within our own Central Mass communities.
If you have not heard of them and want to learn more about what they do, please check their website and Facebook page:
Starting this Monday, October 14th we will spend the next month working to collect food items and raise funds for their cause. If you are interested in contributing in some way, we've got a variety of options for you.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Option #1 - Drop Off Food
- * 100% Juice Boxes
- * Macaroni & Cheese
- * Applesauce cups
- * Spaghetti-O's
- * Oatmeal Packets
- * Individually boxed cereal
- * Granola Bars
- * Fruit Cups
- * Pudding Cups
- * Ramen Noodles
- * Fruit Snacks
- * Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli or Spaghetti & Meatballs
If you are interested in donating food, you can simply the drop off items in our lobby during any class time.
Option #2 - Do Burpees After Class & We Donate For You
Power Source will donate $0.05 for every burpee our community does between October 14th and November 14th.
The burpees must be done in the 5 minute window right after your class with us. When we did this two years ago we raised almost $600 from this strategy alone, hopefully we can match or beat that in 2019.
Option #3 - Compete In SpikeBall Tournament
We are tentatively planning to run a SpikeBall Tournament at our facility on Veteran's Day (November 11th). More details to come as we finalize the event.
Option #4 - Help With Packing
The time required to pack all of these kits has become labor-intensive, and often times volunteers are needed to keep the work to a reasonable number of hours each week.
